Declan Benedict McKenna is an English singer, songwriter, music producer, LGBTQ + rights activist and British political activist. He was first recognized for winning the Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent Competition in 2015. McKenna released his own song "Brazil", a song in protest against FIFA and FIFA World. The 2014 Cup, held in Brazil, was her first single in December 2014. The song peaked at number one on Sirius XM Alt Nation Alt 18 Countdown on January 23, 2016 and held that spot for three weeks. The song also reached No. 16 on the US Billboard Alternative Songs chart. He released his first studio album, What Do You Think About the Car ?, on July 21, 2017. McKenna released his second studio album, Zeros, on September 4, 2020, after numerous delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
